We found out last week that we are going to be parents. Kind of a culture shock at first as we are both in our late 30's and never had kids. However the more it sinks in the more excited I am for December 16th 2008 to get here!

Congratuations!! There are many wonderful things about children. But one of the most wonderful things about children are that you could be having the worst day and you come home and they give you a big hug, kiss and smile and all is well in the world again.

I wish you and your wife a safe and healthy pregnancy and delivery.

The biggest and most important thing I've learned over the past 19 years as a Father of one each son and daughter is this...

Believe it when other parents tell you "they grow up too fast!" They do. Cherish every minute with your kids, try to capture all the moments in their lives, not with a camera...but in your heart and soul. Because before you realize it, in what appears to be a fleeting moment..they are grown and gone.

Mine are still at home, but soon my wife and I will be by ourselves again. Until grandkids show up! Congratulations! God bless you all with health and happiness.

I see a lot of miniature camping items in your future! Baby camping chair, baby RV playpen, etc.

Oooooh, good stuff! Congratulations. Lots of giggles and smiles ahead.

From this moment on, you life will be changed forever. You are on a pathway of discovery to things you've forgotten about. You will see the world in a whole new way and things that are okay to do now will NOT be okay to do after your little one comes, because you will want to protect that child from so much. Maybe you'll be as blessed as we were and have twins first! They are 33 now and mothers of 3 each and then we had 3 sons. Hmmm...3's...maybe you'll have triplets! hee...hee.! Congratulations.
