We use the sticky back velcro. If it's a heavier object, just use more velcro. I buy the 25 feet roll of velcro in a box from the hardware store. I've been through several boxes over the life span of 3 RV's now, and the velcro gets used for everything!

We use the Command Hooks for everything because I didn't want to put holes in the walls. I'm not sure about textured, but our walls look like, and feel like there is some type of wallpaper on them.

We even use the extra heavy duty Command Hooks for hanging coats by the door. Our HTT has been sitting unused for 6 months with a jacket hanging on one of the hooks and as of last weekend, it was still hanging.

We have the hooks for keys and under a cabinet we use them for hanging coffee cups. We also have a clock hanging on a wall that has been there since summer of '06.

I'm happy for now, but I haven't tried to take one down - who knows if they'll come off as easy as they say.

We just hung a number of pictures and other objects on our new TT walls this weekend. We used the 3M Command hooks (of various types and sizes) and dh also put a small strip of velcro at the bottom to keep the pictures from bouncing against the wall. We took our first trip this weekend over some not-so smooth roads and everything stayed put perfectly. Nothing fell nor even tilted!

I use velcro also but I staple the wall side to the wall. I find if we get a temp change the glue will not hold. The Coommand Hooks work great on inside wall but again temp change will release the glue on the stuff on the outside walls.

Well I just finished ready another post about warning stickers, and do we remove ours or not. (OF COURSE MIXED RESULTS) but one poster said "IT IS YOUR TT MAKE IT YOUR HOME--NOT THE NEXT OWNERS HOME" I agree. I got tired of sticky tapes FAILING (though Ive never tried VELCRO--good idea) I mounted my pics in a plastic frame (that looks like wood) and ran 2 screws thru the frame clear into the wall. I know the walls in my TT are drywall, but its just holding up a picture. Im also on a seasonal site. And no kids pulling on them.

Velcro - even with the temp changes (hot to cold in Michigan), it's just as strong as day #1.
