Just got back from camping with the Ohio Rally Group and rvtime made this recipe for our Sat. potluck. All the great desserts we had and this recipe is the one everyone was talking about. It was a hit. Carol made the cobbler in a 9x13 pan and it fit. I can't wait to make it.
Thank you for sharing the recipe.

I wonder how many bananas it will take to makeup five pounds. I do have bananas, but not sure I have enough to make it today without going to the store.

I made this today and it is really really good, but oh so sweet and sooooo rich. I baked it in the oven but in a cast iron dutch oven pan. I was sewcond guessing myself about leaving the lid on, but decided to do it, and was probably a good thing or I think it wuld have raised over and out the pan. Then it went back down as it cooled. Someone ask how many bananas are 5#? I weighed the bunch I got, it had 7 fairly large bananas in it and was about 4+# so I added 2 more. If I make it again, I would definitely cut down the butter and brown sugar by at least half (maybe even down to 1 cube butter and 1 cup brown sugar)and I think it would still be outstanding.
