I have a problem with one of the electric mirrors on my Minnie. Everytime I hit a bump, I have to readjust the mirror. I could not figure out how to get into it to tighten what must be a loose friction fitting.

Lurking on this forum for a while I discovered people referring to Velvac mirrors. I finally did a little surfing and found their site. http://www.velvac.com/RVs_only/home/home.html

I called the 800 number and a service tech listened to my problem and promptly told me he would e-mail me the approrpriate drawings and info. Five minutes later I was printing it off and copying the file to DVD for reference on the road.

Just thought kudos were in order for a company that could have just blown me off.

A good company with a US based customer support and the internet make for some really good stories.

On the other hand the overseas script heads... no joy there

Glad to see you found a good one

I also like: Xantrex (Washington state IIRC), Motosat (Salt Lake City, UT) and Workhorse (Troy, MI) I have some real stories on Workhorse.. Kind of fun too
