Have a 99 Itasca sunrise 32.2 feet, weight 17,000 area. Has no stabilzer jacks and I want to at least keep rocking to a minimum and be able to not sleep at a angle. Seen a rv parts site that sold a 4 pack of 7,500 pound each sissor jacks(choice of 24 or 30 inch) 30 inch is like $20 more total, said can be welded or bolted on. What do you all think of something like this. I know I cant jack them all the way up, but a few inches to make it more comfortable, whats your opinions? Price is $109 for 4 30 inch and like $89 for 4 24 inch ones + shipping.

They probably would be a more economical item to stabilize the RV but I'd have serious reservations about their being able to actually lift enough to really facilitate your leveling the MH. Just how much they can lift can only really be evaluated by someone who uses them on a MH your size.

Our Rexhall didn't come with Jacks either and we use scissor jacks also. We have absolutely no problems with them and they work great. One thing I would suggest is to do like I do. I went to Harbor Freight Sales and purchased an electric impact wrench and a 3/4" socket to jack them up and down with. Saves a lot of work.

Where did you find the scissor jacks?
I am in the same situation. I am really tempted to go this route and I like the electric wrench that was suggested also. There is no way I could afford to put on a hydraulic system. I have been thinking that this would minimize the swaying in the spring wind.

With a 17,000 pound MH and 7500 pound jacks, why can't you lift it all you need to-even off the ground (at least at one end or one side at a time)? Each front wheel will be 3000 pounds and each rear wheel 5500 pounds-easily within the range of a 7500 pound jack. I wouldn't want to lift all four wheels with such a system, although it would work, because the scizzors jacks don't have much stability sideways but with two wheels anchored/chocked a two wheel lift should be no problem. One might also want to try to crank two at a time to reduce twisting forces on the chassis and body if lifting very far, or alternate between two jacks. On the whole, it seems like a pretty good idea.

Ya, I would get a socket to do it. A friend suggested a 18 volt drill(which I already have). Harbor Freight has the 5,000 pound ones on their website for $20, but I may go the 7,500 pounds to be safe. Worth the few extra dollars to me to have a little extra capacity. found the 7,500 pound ones at gorvx.net
I have the autopark system on mine, so it is solid when the autopark kicks in and since the wheels will be on the ground, I would hope would be very little movement if some tension is off the springs.

Go on Ebay and look for electric levelers. It took me about a year, but I found a used set for 100 bucks. Installed switches on the dash and cut up a 10 gauge extension cord to power them. Extension cords are cheaper per foot than raw wire. They work great, although I had to clean one of them up before installing.
Another option is http://www.pplmotorhomes.com/parts/rv-jacks/rv-electric-stabilizer-jack.htm
comparatively inexpensive.
On edit: Here is a listing on Ebay - cheaper yet.

We did that our our old Flair and it worked OK for the $$$ - WAY better than no jacks. I also agree with the impact wrench suggestion.
There are 24 hours in every day - it all depends on how you choose to use them.
