We asked the dealer to send us some more pictures. It was a little wrecked inside, obviously well used. It had been used by a band to tour with. Needless to say, that scared us off of the bed

I think I'd be scared of more than just the bed But, I guess it would also depend on the band.....KISS or Partridge Family??

But, you can pretty much count on it not being maintained the way it should have been. At least with a rental, they will service them, so that they don't break down....which isn't good business for the rental agency. This sounds like it was bought/leased, and abused for 3 years, then dumped, to trade up (if the band was successful) or repo's if they weren't!

Keep looking....I got a "like new" 2000 Winnie, with more bells and whistles than I can shake a stick at, and it was only $25K. The deals are out there!! Good Luck!

I'd go for it...lots of highway time, not much sitting. The Triton V10 is a 250,000+ mile engine.
