Could be a rental.

Forest River is used by some lower end rental companies, and the milage would make sense then.

So it could be either totally trashed or it could be in perfect condition, everytime something went wrong it was serviced.....

Check if the chassis is the same year (plus/minus 1) as the house. Some rental cos put a new house (for example 2005)on an old chassis (for example 2000) and of course show the newer model year.

If it is a rental - I would avoid it.

Otherwise, I would be cautious but not afraid of it. If they maintained it and did not tow it could have lots of life left. Do they have maintenance records? If not, I would not trust it. Have it checked as you would any used vehicle and you may be able to get a great deal. There are few of us willing to buy a high mileage vehicle so the offer should reflect that.

Ours had over 100K on it when we bought it. We believed it had been well taken care of and it is still running great. We bought it for less than most RV buyers lose immediately on depreciation.

I'd bet it was a rental and there is nothing wrong with 130,000ks, providing it was properly maintained. That's one of the advantages of buying an X-Rental from a good outfit. Everything gets attended to, unlike some private units that are neglected. If all the stuff works and there are service records provided..then it's all about the price. 130 is a good bargaining number for a buyer. They'll want to sell because of the high numbers and the fuel issue. You should be able to do well on this.

Are they offering any type of warranty? 30 days? If so, I would go for it if it looks like it has been maintained.

I know when we bought our one year old Sunseaker (rental) with about 20,000 miles on it the couch had a broken spring, the dinette cushions were shot, and the front seats required me to sit on a pillow with one behind my back in order to drive it. But the price was right and we pulled the dinette and replaced with Flexsteel chairs, replaced the couch and rebuilt the front seats. Then there was the the new front shocks and I still came out ahead. Don't mind driving it now.

Don't buy it sight unseen. If it looks great, smells great, runs great, and the RV features work great, I would offer $15,000 as others advised. That is an entry level model, so they run cheap even when new.
