Often times you don't even need to ask! I was backing into a tight camp site a few weeks ago at night. I pulled past the site and put my truck into reverse, my girlfriend had already gotten out with a flashlight and was gonna direct me in. When I looked in my side mirrors, I saw 2 sets of flashlights on each side of the TT! 3 people from adjacent campsites saw me about to back in and came over to help...without me even knowing! Now that's what it's all about!

Should I get your "walker" ready? Or do you prefer one of those high tech mobility scooters? (complete kidding of course )

Now that's cool and also a great way to break the ice with your neighbors. Like I have mentioned, it's not expected but very much appreciated when people do offer to help. It makes you that more likely to help the next person as well. It's all about passing on the kindness.

I agree fully...Here's my story...Last weekend we had a blowout on our single axle trailer and no less than 6 people stopped to help us.. two people with campers in tow, an EMT,a father going home, and two others. they helped us change the tire, blocked traffic so we could safely get back on the road and led us to the closest tire store. You meet the nicest people sometimes!!!

Helpful campers make happy campers! It seems to me that there clearly are more helpful and friendly folk out camping than there are inconsiderate campers. I try to figure what goes around comes around. Happy camping to all!
