Hey folks, have you noticed less RV's on the road? Isn't it nice as a Full-timer to be able to find RV Parks with site vacancies. I really think there may be benefits to the high price of fuel. Maybe summer will find plenty of places to visit without worrying about needing reservations. It would really be nice if the price of overnight sites would stop increasing at a horrendous rate. Maybe just maybe there is some good to the high price of fuel.

We have talked to many fulltimers that are going to do just what we have. Find a place to spend more time and drive less.

Unfortunately this is what will probably happen. Higher campground costs and higher fuel costs do not equal anything good. Even the need for reservations or preferably earlier arrival beats this.

Not sure where you are staying but where we booked we barely made it in as they are already close to capacity and we haven't hit summer yet.

I think it is still early for most folks to be on the road. Topsail is full here in Florida.
I suspect most RV'ers will be traveling this summer , just that they may be going shorter distances and staying in places longer....
