"RV Ownercare: Fleetwood's Warranty

RV OWNERCARE is one of the RV industry's most comprehensive programs and includes systems, appliances, components and construction, with no deductible and no service charge. RV OWNERCARE coverage is provided from a company that will be around in the future to service your needs. See your nearest Fleetwood dealer for a full explanation of benefits and restrictions.

my safari is 13 years and sound as ever. i've seen motorhomes less than a year with all kinds of problems. I've seen three identical models same manufacturer about two years old with slide out leaks and track problems. I thinks it's different for all coaches. just hope your warranty is good and your dealer is still in business next time your need them.

Your warranty is only as good as the company that stands behind it....Fleetwoods rep...not so good.

You know, thats what I read here but I know lots of Fleetwood owners and everyone I know is pretty happy. When the service manager was driving us around in the golf cart to look at out coach when it was getting repaired, I asked how easy is it to work with Fleetwood and he said that Fleetwood has really improved and is one of the easiest to work with now.

I personally have mixed reviews and mixed feelings about Fleetwoods Customer care....Some don't care. I recently had to make repairs that they should have stepped up and taken care of.....I have less then 100.00 into the repairs and because I did them, they are done right. But Fleetwood certainly could have handled the situation a lot better, if for no reason than to retain good customer relations. I understand the economy is snapping a lot of check books closed and maybe I will never buy another coach. In that case they did themselves no harm, but if I do buy again, then they were being penny wise and dollar foolish. They managed to push themselves down my list of possibilities...of course Alpine and TS fell off the list when they went out of business.

The warranty on Tiffin Motorhomes for structural integrity is 10 years, with a five year warranty against delamination. He also has the standard one year bumper to bumper warranty. I happen to be at the plant this week. Their still producing 11 motorhomes a day. (down from 13 a day)
