Is liquid Blue Coral - Wash and Wax ok to use on Rubber Roofs??
I have seen some here say they use it for the Fiberglass sides and Caps on RV's but I'm wondering if its safe to use on Rubber Roofs. Walmart sells a huge jug for about $3.00 or so.
The front says its fortified with Carnauba wax and I've looked at the back and No-Where does it say anything about Petroleum Distilates being in it.
Also, what is a good, inexpensive and easy wax to apply to Gel-Coat sides and Fiberglass Caps once they are clean?
Good, inexpensive and easy to apply ---Hmmm ---don't think so (-:
I did my GS a few weeks ago and it looks wonderful. About killed me-I'm old (-:
I washed with a Spic and Span solution in a weed sprayer and a washing brush. Then Meguiar's #49 Oxidation Remover heavy duty cleaner. Then Mothers California Gold Pure Carnuba Wax. The cleaner and wax applied with a 8" buffer and wiped off with terry towels.
Took 4 days but I won't have to do it again for a year or more.
Not fun but rewarding.

If you look up the MSDS (material Safety Data Sheet) for virtually any potentially poisonous consumer product, you can find out what the ingredients are, in case of ingestion or skin contact. Blue Coral products contain at least 3 Petroleum Products, including kerosene, naptha and morpholine. (Sopus Products, Inc is the Blue Coral Companys actual name.)

Thanks for all advice.
I would say you can use it on the fiberglass parts but I would NOT use it on the rubber roof, certain chemicals will ruin the roof I think Naptha is one, They make special cleaners and protectants for the roof.

Try Poli-Glow for the fiberglass front, sides and back of the MH. Never wax again, one extra coat of Poli-Glow in the spring to renew the surface. Makes the MH look like showroom condition. Been using it for years on sailboat, MH. Great stuff.

I can't see any of the petroleum products you listed on this page, sorry if I'm just overlooking it. Can you give me a bit more info where you found that info at?
