Once again just trying to help people out. I think I might have an upper hand in what I am talking about compaired to what others are saying. I did not get a lemon, a lot of people are getting lemons. My dealer gave me a two page letter (for legal reasons) that Komfort wrote to them explaining how they have been doing shooty work for the past 6 months and that they are working on resolving a lot of the problems. It is unfortunate that the consumers have to be on the receiving end of a companies in house problems. I might agree that trailers built in the past were of great quality but since Carlos stepped out it seems things have gone down hill. Just to shed some light on the what is happening with a compony in the RV industry. Sorry about negativity, however I would go through the trailer with a fine tooth comb. No, I will not delete this post so you can stop poking fun at any time. I think you would be doing the same thing if you feel you got screwed out of $40,000.00, or not maybe you are a million dollar guy.

How exciting. We love our MH and are enjoying it fully. But, one day we too will be able to pass it on to someone else for their enjoyment and get a new or newer model.

We are excited for you and your family. ENJOY!!!!

We all know of one.. Have yet to hear of any others.

Even a highly respected brand like a Jayco, Bigfoot, or AF occasionaly builds a Turkey.

Thats when warranty and customer service step in. In your case it was the dealer that informed you about your problem and the Factory that is fixing it 100%

BTW when it is done, Please trade it in.. Someone else will appreciate is much more.

Perhaps your next unit will make you happier..

Thanks for all the great replies (even the tales of caution are appreciated). My good friend (AF owner himself) and I will be performing a VERY extensive PDI this Saturday. I feel very confident being a long time manufacturing professional, 8 years of RV ownership, and the biggest one is all the information I have learned from this site. I assure you that the rig will meet my expectations before I pay for it or drive it off the lot.

First official planned camping trip will be with a group of friends to Fort Stevens July 1st to kick off my enrollment in the ranks of the newly unemployed. I'm sure I'll get a couple of weekend outings before then and lots during July and August if a job does not come up by then.

I'm thinking I'll stick with Arctic Dodge. Komfort Dodge doesn't sound as good.
