What can you do about decals that are fading and peeling? These decals are on the side of a 30ft class c on fiberglass.

Dont even know why they put them on..Look good to sell I guess. they fade and peel so fast, especially in Arizona,,

Use hair dryer, heat them peel them all off and buff out.... leave or contact manufacturer and see if you can get more.... My last TT I just peeled them off.....

If you decide to remove the decals you will find the surface under them will not be the same color as the area that has had the sun on it. I removed the stripe decals from my previous class C. I masked the stripe area and spray painted them back in.

Removing decals is not a easy job but the best thing I found was a decal eraser that came from a auto body supply store. It is a 3" diameter wheel made from eraser material and it has a 1/4" shaft to use in a electric drill. It works very well.

Take the decals off,and get a good buff and wax and all the colors will blend, new to old, if not right away, in a while as the sun hits it.

Although not bad, one side has had more sun and I have thought about the solution also-mine are metallic maroon and blue. Maybe time for some real spray on metallics or custom flake-two days work and no more stick on plastics that shrink and split.
