I have a 36ft MH and live just outside Chicago. Am wondering what a good price would be to have it polished ,at this part of the world?

Good question, Anyone that can't wax their own and have it done?? Since I can't do it myself, would be interested in the answer.

I don't know about your area, but in San Diego last year it was $255.00 for a 36 ft. It took two guys about 7 hours. Hope this helps, it's at least a starting point.

Polishing is different than waxing.. Cleaning, Polishing and Waxing. Cleaners take off tar, grime etc, Polishing is not abrasive but it takes off subtle amount of old paint exposing new giving that wet look. Waxing seals and protects it. That's why many vendors sell all 3 products.

Since polishing requires waxing, your looking at much more work and expense if you don't do it yourself.

Just clarifying.. Perhaps you meant polishing but for others to help needed better clarification as more work is involved. Polishing is not the same as wash/wax..

My mobile detail service charge $12/ft for exterior. That include power wash, polish gel coat, wax and tire dressing. I used to have a kid that does a great job for 1/2 of that....that (the service) only last for a about a year.

To have my wash and wax cost $100.00 in Oakboro, NC, but only $75.00 in Misson, TX.

Sound like I getting a good deal.

Here in the Long Beach CA area, it's $200 for our 33' mh for a wash & wax. It gets washed once a month for $65 and wash/wax 4 times a year.

To be honest I can do it if I have to but it is more work than I should do so I am looking to have it done and pay for it.

I paid $350 at Fort Wilderness for a mobile wax/wash guy that came right to my site. Did a fantastic job.
