Is Alfa Leisure the latest to close their doors?
Are they looking for a buyer to get them out of bankruptcy?
Several discussions on this topic on other forums.
Does anyone know the latest on this one?

Check rvnews.com for latest. They are shutting it down.
Fleetwood is selling property and laying off.
Alpenlite is gone
Travel supreme is gone
Dealers are slashing thier orders from the factories.
Now might be a good time to make a ridiculous low offer on some unit on the dealer's lot. He just might be running scared.

I started off with Alfa. They are a beautiful trailer. However; we couldn't stay out of the shop. We kept the Alfa Gold about 1 year and got rid of it. Last year our dealer dropped the Alfa line. They told me it was due to customer complaints. I understand most trailers will have a few items wrong, but Alfa was out of control. I might have kept it another year, and got the bugs out and everything would have been fine. It would have saved me money.

Our Government keeps telling us that all is well. I am in the construction field, all is not well. We have to search for ways to keep our head above water, we have to be creative. All I can say is, it's hard to think outside the box.

We had two alfas. The first one ('99 Gold)was OK. The second ('03 Gold)was a lemon from day one. After 5 electrical fires...I said "the next time...let 'er burn" Their quality control was terrible.

I feel bad for those who have lost their jobs.
