My truck is my daily driver, and the engine isn't quite broke in yet. My speed is dictated by my RPM's, between 1.9 and 2K is my sweet spot. Best empty, so far, was 24 on flat land highway. 15-16 in city driving. Towing we average 11-12, but so far that has been mainly in the mountains. Looking forward to doing some flat land towing this summer. We will be heading to MI for vacation after Escapades in Gillette, WY this summer. Hoping to increase all those with the chip I ordered...

we have towed both our 2005 30'TT(loaded at 7700lbs) and got 10 towing and 16 not towing. We now have the 5th wheel(double the weight of the TT) and get the same milage. go figure! We usually do 60-65mph. truck is in our signature. The 5th wheel handles much better and smoother than the TT. Dona

We have been keeping the numbers from MD to SK, Canada. 10.5mpg average. 98% of it is towing a not-so-lite 15,000# Alpenlite. Hwy cruise set at about 62 turning 1700rpm & gives up to 12mpg on the level. We are the very slow people when pulling away from lights & try not to come to a stop if a red light is seen at a great enough distance. The little stuff makes a difference.

2008 F-450 pulling 2006 Kountry Aire 5er. 20k fully loaded. 7 to 7.5
empty 9! Ouch! The Ford has a 4.88 rear end, every towing upgrade they offer, Hitched the bed lowers about a quarter inch! It pulls like nothing I've ever had, but it comes with a price, the mileage.
