We work at Pine Flat lake California for the US Army Corps of Engineers and done this lake for one year and the previous year we worked at Lake Hensley. Great bunch of people to work for and you can't ask for a nicer site. Full hook ups and we only need to work 20 hours a week. My wife is still working in Fresno so we plan on staying here for at least four more years and then will hit the road working our way accross this beautiful country.
If you are wanting a job in a park such as Mt. Rushmore or Yellowstone for the summer look online for Xanterra.com. This company has the consession for several places across the country and they have an online application. I suggest you start looking there, also online look at www.coolworks.com read that for some ideas. These are just a couple of sites.
I have taken a placement at Mt. Rushmore from June until Oct. A site for my RV is in Keystone, SD at a small charge by Xanterra. I get one meal at a small charge (cheaper than I could fix) as well as a salary. I did not go to make a living at this, I wanted the thrill of being and working at Mt. Rushmore. I was in this area the summer of 2007 and decided over the winter this is what I wanted to do for the summer of 2008.
