What does everyone do with the hitch and bars at the campsite? They are pretty big and heavy I used to just have the 2 inch receiver to worry about.
Thanks again, Dave

I put our hitch head under the trailer back by the wheels. Out of sight. The bars go across the tongue or in the rear bumper on our Roo.

I guess the out of sight is the key, kinda worried about theft.
Thanks chuck

I mounted a PVC pipe with caps under the tongue and I store them there when camping and at home. I store the hitch in one of the storage compartments.

Back in the box they came in and into the bed of the truck. I have a locking bed, so it's out of site and out of mind.

Mine go in the bed of the truck while camping. I have a soft cover on my bed. It is not lockable but out of sight. I have never had a problem with anyone opening my truck and looking in the bed.

My spring bars stand inside the A frame with the greasy end up. This stores them about a foot from where they'll be used. I COULD lock mine up under the tonneau cover but it doesn't bother me if someone looks at them.

Mine too, go into tubing - I used black ABS piping with thread-on end caps, love it and it works great. As for the hitch head, I remove it from my TV and then hook the ball back up to the coupler and use my coupler lock. The she just hangs there 'til we leave.

I made a holder out of PVC and a couple of 2x4's (2 holes in oppsite ends of the 2x4 (2 of those) and PVC pipes slid thru the holes) it fits in my left front compartment and I slide the bars in (with lock pins in place to stop them fomr slidding stright thru). The hitch head usually sits on the tounge next to the battery.

I've been trying to come up with a better place for the hitch head - the darn thing will only fit in one of my compartments. I've done like 4HPYCMPRS a few times and just hooked the hitchhead back to the tounge and swing under the A-Frame.
