I have a Sprint Air card - about 50% of bars on connection - the only internet connection I can get is rv.net - could be worse - but does that make sense - wondering how I can get more so I can check the weather out here in tornado alley - already saw one today and one is enough

That doesn't even make any sense. If you can pull up the RV.net URL you should be able to pull up any other URL. What happens when you try a different URL?

Contact the tech people at 3GStore.com. They have an antenna that pulls in great signal for us with a Sprint broadband account with a 727 modem.

When your at rv.net enter dslreports.com into the address bar then click enter. There is no reason you should not be able to go to another site if you can get to rv.net (although it may load slower if it contains a lot of graphics) and it is usually the other way around for me. In fact I have stop using the rv.net portal and instead have started using the trailerlife.com portal, it works far better and you get the same forums that you get with rv.net

I'm with the rest: It makes no sense at all as RV.net ranks at the top of my connect failures, and while reasonably fast when it works, there are thousands that are faster.

Back to the basics.. Try YAHOO.com and see what you get, the site should pop up almost immediately. Yahoo seems to be the defacto IT test site for web connectibility.
