Yes, it would have to be a Spartan chassis. FL didn't have IFS till much later, not till past 2000 anyway and maybe 2002

If everything looks good you can't go wrong with most Newmar's if they have been taken care of. They are top notch and they are the ones that invented the slide back in 1990.

they may have invented the drop down flat floor slide but I think slides preceded them. that slide that when pulled in makes the hallway higher on one side than the other and a bear to walk on.

bumpy
I was told they were the first to put slides into production and they invented the flat floor unit.

I dunno, these RV prices are dropping like rocks! We are asking 75K for a 98 Beaver Marquis with a slide and full body paint (aqua hot, air leveling, all the goodies) and cant get any takers! It books at 150k!!!

I cant imagine what kind of steals are going to be available a year from now if fuel keeps going up...

Yea - I have been waiting, and seeing the prices drop, but I ask - how much further can they drop?

I suppose if fuel keeps going up, there will be those that can afford it and will keep going, and there will be those that can't afford it and either have to sell or let the RV be repo'd and sell at a repo auction.

I have been up in the air about a lot of them, and just keep looking and asking questions.

The Mountian Aire looks like a really good deal for the $$, but maybe I'll just rent for this summer and see what next looks like.
