The title says the story...

I have a 2.5 year old and a 4 month old set of boys and plan to rent a class A motorhome and wanted to find a nice CG near or around or in Branson, MO to go enjoy a week with the family.

Can you help reccommend a CG?

How about things that are a must see?

Things to avoid?

Thank you so much for your input!!

Last year we stayed at Compton Ridge. Our friends like the CG because it has a lot of things to do, especially for kids. We thought it was a nice place, but we didn't need to spend as much money per night since we didn't have kids. I do recommend the CG, but next time we will probably go to a cheaper place. Compton has 2 swimming pools tennis courts, basketball, game room, and other things. Great place for large groups and kids. Very close to Silver Dollar City.

As for campgrounds I would search Trailer life directory and choose from what you read would suit you.

We have reservations at America's Best Campground. Never been other than to drive by and look. We live about 70 mile from Branson but I work down there all the time it seems.

Things to do, Silver Dollar City, Butterfly Palace, Ripley's, lots and lots of go carts and the like.

Can't really think of anything not to do.

There is a nice state park near Branson (Table Rock State Park). They have hookups, a playground, and room to run.
