Based on the posts on this board the V 10 is very popular and they are near impossible to find.

Had two dealers tell me when they get them in they take them to auction, they said they don't sell bbecause of mileage.but when i did a search for them I could not find one with in a 300 mile radius of my house????.But this was coming from a dealer that asked if my F250 was a SRW or DRW.

Found mine a day before the dealer was wholesaling it off. Wholesaler was coming to get it, when I wrote the check. It was a year old and had 1900 miles. Was on dealers lot for a month. I saw the paperwork. I paid $1000 less than wholesale, because the dealer didn't have to pay the transfer and shipping fees, if he sold it to me.

Funny thing is the guy that traded it wanted a diesel, as the V10 was too costly to fuel. Sometimes timing is everything.

I was told the same thing in 2004. Sure wish I would have spent the extra $800 and passed on the 5.4L.

If you care to read, you can find out all you want at the Ford enthusiast site. Some people are willing to fly across the country to buy an V-10, when they find it on the internet. Many say they can't find one and have to order it! If you have any question you can't find an answer for, register and ask.
Good luck!
By the way I love my V-10!
On retrospect, I might add the general feeling among the owners there is! Dealers don't stock the V-10 because they can't make as much profit, as with the Diesel!

I love ours. Took 2 weeks to get. We live in the phoenix area and the closest one was in San Francisco. Dealer showed me the sticker, I approved it, and they brought it in. No charge for the shipping.
