As someone else reported on these forums a week or so back, Dodge will be building the Titan for Nissan. the Titan will have unique sheet metal, but will basically be a rebadged Ram. The 5.6L Endurance V8 will apparently be no longer, replaced by a Hemi V8. As the 2010 Ram will be available with a V8 Cummins, the Titan will as well.
There is also a rumor that the Titan name and a tweaked 400hp 5.6L Endurance may follow over to the HD Nissan pickups and that they may use another name for the 1/2 ton Ram versions. I guess this might be good news in a way for current Nissan owners who like their Titans and who will be looking to go to a bigger TV in a few years like me.
I think I would wait on Nissan and Dodge to announce the Cummins diesel in a Nissan. That engine has kept Dodge alive in the HD pickup game for a number of years and I find it difficult to believe they would give away that advantage.

The V8, for the same power output, is shorter, lower, and lighter than the inline 6. If anyone gave Cummins enough orders, they'd build just about anything.
Dodge may be taking on the Nissan business because they don't have enough business of their own to keep their factory full and busy.

And typically has a alot more moving parts. There is already one other american engine builder, although it has a tarnished record as of late, and there are import engine builders with V8's why would Cummins start building a V8 when they have proved the I6 to be better?
