I have used both types of sway control and have found the Dual Cam to be superior on my 32' TT. What size trailer are you pulling? I don't know if you would see much difference under about 25'. My 24' TT pulled great with the friction type but once I tried it with the 32' it was just unsafe.

most peaple will say the duel cam is better, they are most likly right, but I do like the ajustability of my duel friction sway for my 30 foot TT.

I love my dual cam. I had a single friction bar with my pop-up and every once in a while I would over or under adjust it. I couldn't tell until I was out on the highway and then I felt unsafe. I also didn't like taking the bar off before I backed up. Others on this site will tell you they've never taken theirs off when they back up, but the dealer told me to take it off so I always did.

Unless you want to pay $3000 for the Hensely trailer hitch, the Reese Straight Dual cam hitch is fantastic. I tow a 32' trailer weighing in at 12K when fully loaded.

I had friction sway on my 29ft trailer, did not like it. Switched to the Dual cam HP, much better, don't even notice the big rigs passing.

I had Dual Cam HP on my previous unit, a 26' TT. Huge improvement in towing stability over the friction bar. You get a lot of bang for the buck with Dual Cam.

Also look at the Equal-i-zer WDH. It has sway control built in.
