The drive is easy and if you do it once you will likely do it again if you have the chance

Rafters on the Colorado:

The river can get close but the drive is great:

Enjoy the trip and be sure to have a good Camers.

Great shots of the road and scenery, thanks. That leg is definitely being changed to include that route.

We'll have good cameras with us and Kathy knows how to use them:-)

I was playing with the mapping program today and one of the routes it took me down from 163 was to go across "Indian Route 59" to get back over to 191 and I-40.

I don't mean to sound skiddish, but hopefully that's more than some dirt road or trail. This program did send me 7 miles down a dirt road one time to dead end into a fence designating state land. I don't want to repeat that :-)

johnna, as usual, is right on the money.

4runnerguy - boy, I would love to comment on your last sentence but I won't ---- JUST KIDDING! :-)

Hwy 128 is great. If you can come back from whevever you are staying with the Saturn you should drive up to Fischer Towers - it is a kinda bad bumpy road but very pretty and some nice hiking.

Be safe.
