We were in OC over the weekend and I took a run through Castaways. I read another post that said they would miss their Memorial Day opening day.
Looking at the current construction situation, I am hoping that they meet a 4th of July opening date.
Once it is complete it looks like it will be a nice place.

Hmmmm. . . We have reservations for mid-June. They keep assuring us they'll be ready but I guess we'll have to wait and see.

I don't know how familiar you are with OC, but it's located right off off MD 611 and it's between the airport and Frontiertown CG.
It used to be called Eagle's Nest and is right next to Eagle's Landing golf course (very nice course).

I went by Castaways last wednesday, April 30th. They had crews and equipment working all over the place. Its not impossible for them to be done for Memorial Day. Depends how agressive the get with the construction.

I was there snooping this past Saturday (May 3), and no one was working. I agree with Ron44, it is possible they'll be open for Memorial Day, but doesn't look real likely, especially if they are not working on Saturdays when the weather is good. It looks to be a very nice place once they're done.

It looks like they are already conceeding that they may miss the opening by Memorial Day. They have sent letters out to people that have Memorial day reservations

I would be surprised if they make it. It will take a pretty big push and some corner cutting moves to be ready.
