Morning all...stay cool and be safe out there.

Ris, thanks for the kind words. Saw the pics of Kristy and the prom...beautiful! Thought of her friend and her mom as well...will keep everyone in our prayers.

Jill, what a milestone for Lexi...where does the time go?

Jimbo, you've got it right...kids are growing up way too quickly. Can we just put a brick on their heads?

BikerBill, glad to hear you're on the mend.

Birthday wishes to Baba Wawa!

Off to check the pool...

Thank goodness for the motorhome! Had some wicked storms here last night and lost power around 7:30pm. So, we fired up the generator and camped overnight in the driveway. Woke up this morning and power is back on...lots of people are still waiting and there is also a lot of tree damage.

Have a great day!

Hello Everyone,

I am FINALLY home from the hospital. Glad my surgery is over. Eight days is all I could stand in the hospital. I have a pic line in my arm and have to go for IV Therapy for the next week. I am so glad to be home though. I slept so well in my own bed, but for some reason I am wide awake now - probably because you can never sleep in a hospital and I am so used to being wakened up everynight for my IV.

Cindy, glad that part is over. I was thinking of you guys the other night and wondering what was going on. Stay in touch and let us know how you are doing.

Cindy,

So pleased you are home and on the road to recovery! I'm sure Jamie and Emily are happy to have you home, too.

We'll continue the prayers!
