All these graduations are making me feel old!

Bill & Rachel are off to a morning at the movies...local theater shows AM movies for free during the summer. Today they are seeing "Alvin & the Chipmunks" and then having Dad & daughter time.
He officially starts the new job tomorrow, so this is a special day for them to spend together.

I'm catching up on laundry and going food shopping...think he got the better gig.

So here's what has been going on here at T & M's:

Tony's parents flew from FL to stay with us and go to Tony's daughter's HS graduation (there's ANOTHER one!). His mother (both parents are 88) couldn't get up from the airplane seat and finally was helped out and slept all the way home. Tony's father said she was OK on the plane. She got progressively worse over the weekend and it took 3 people to get her down the stairs. We called 911 and took her to the ER, and after tests, it was found she had a stroke. In retrospect, it seems she had it on the plane, since she was OK prior to arriving in NY. She's still in the hospital, and they will send her to rehab to build up her leg strength so she can walk again, but we are thankful she is not paralyzed on one side, and didn't lose any other faculties other than overall stamina. I had Tony's sister AND my parents overnight here yesterday, and it's been a loony bin here for a few days. If she gets into the rehab center tomorrow or Friday, we can still make our RV trip to Montauk Sun - Lord knows we need some R&R!!

I am feeling pretty good. Tomorrow is my last day of IV therapy and they will take out the pic line, so hopefully all continues to go well. Thanks for asking.

Jamie and Emily are doing well. Emily is getting excited for the end of school.

Maria...Sorry to hear that! Will keep Tony's Mom in our prayers. Where is Montauk Sun?

Cindy...I remember Emily's first day of school! You posted her picture!

Maddie's wrapping up 4th grade. "Graduating" from her elementary and not attending Middle School next year. Big doings. We have a very nice surprise planned for her on her last day of school.
