We are going to Disney in Sept., right now we are trying to talk dd and dsil to camp while there. If we do camp what is a good campground to stop at on the way down close to I-95 in Ga.?
Thanks

Here's one in Florida about and hour and a half from Ft.Wilderness. Exit 284 I-95 go left at exit to first traffic light and take a right then a few miles on left is Bulow campground. Leaving in morning take a left out of campground entrance go to end of Old Kings Road and take a right then over I-95 and take the left to the southbound ramp. For reservations call 386 439 9200. If you leave at 10 AM you will get to Disney at check-in time. I assumed you are staying in Ft. Wilderness as it is the best place to stay. You get in one hour earlier than outsiders and don't have to pay the $10 parking fee every day. I just got back from Disney last week. Remember you can get better prices on entrance fees also if you stay in park.

Here is our favorite stop.
Fort Clinch
It leaves about 200 miles to DW. Nice park, a short walk to the sand.

We have stayed at the KOAs in both Kingsland GA and Richmond Hill GA. They are both easy off and back on the highway. IMHO they make good overnight stops.

We have used the KOA at Richmond Hill. From Charlotte it was just about the middle point of the trip. This is not a bad CG with some pull through sites. Good for an overnight stop. Easy access off of I-95.

We've stayed at Exit 58 and at Exit 1 in GA. Easy on/off and a nice overnight stay.
