Well, our time on the road is drawing to an end. I am just interested in any ideas on good ways to sell our RV and how long I should expect it to take to sell.

Thanks

Find out what the wholesale price is in Kelly Blue Book and NADA. Find out through internet research what similar 2006 Cypress trailers are selling for. For example there is one in Tulsa that if it isnt yours is the same length for $34,500. There is also a 34 footer on Ebay for $35,900 OBO. I would list it in the RV Trader that is sold at convenience stores and supermarkets. I would also cross list it on their internet site. If you can put the vehicle near a highly traveled road if possible. If you really want it to sell then price it to sell. Its a buyers market and you need to be agressive with your pricing. The buyer of your rig may come from 300 miles away so that is how far your advertising should reach. Besides the trader list your vehicle on Craigslist. A lot of sellers will list in major cities 200-500 miles away and their local big city.

I owe 27k on the note. All I really want to do is get out of the payment. Do you think if I list it for $29,999 that I am under-pricing?

NADA and Kelly Blue Book, (KBB) for used pricing. It doesn't matter whether any amount is owed on it, just the wholesale and retail numbers for the coach, as to what it will bring.

See Wayne's take on it. Decide what you NEED, not what you WANT for the RV and then get it where it'll be in front of people. If there are consignment RV dealers in your area, try that first. If not, look for someone with national sales and reach. I did as I suggest here and priced 2004 motor home, called a national dealer and it was gone in five days! They flew in a driver to look it at and take it away and he presented me with their check for paid-in-full.

I think Craig's List is a good way to sell anything.

Not only have I sold things on Craigslist but I almost bought a beautiful Chinook MH in the Portland, OR, area that was listed on Craigslist. It sold before I had a chance to look at it, though. Here in the NW, it's a good way to buy and sell. You can include pictures in your ad, and it's FREE.

I have had great success selling and buying on Craig's List. Sold a ref today,
sold a Truck Camper last week. Sold a 99 Class C MH two months ago. Bought two EU2000 and a EU3000 on Craig's list. My Grand Son got married and bought a House. Stocked a complete House worth of furniture from Craig's List.. My son just bought a Kubota Tractor on Craig's List at a great buy. !!!!! Could go on and on plus with all the things my friends sold and bought on Craig's List
