switch for the coach diconnect always shows red light, sometimes have to play with the switch as a relay in the front of coach clicks off and on,my question is why is the red light on all times full glow on shore power, lower intecity on battery power, red light to me means trouble am i right?
Not always. Usually red is used as a trouble light, but sometimes just as a light to tell you if the power is off or on. Check your owners manual. Sounds like the relay may need replacing but this should be properly diagnosed by a technician.
Is the rig plugged into shore power or is the generator running? Some disconnect switches always have the light lit if getting 120v. Try disconnecting all of the 120v supplies, then disconnect battery and see if the light goes out.

You probably have an intellitec remote disconnect system. The red light only means the coach has 12v (Either supplied by the batteries or by the converter)
You can verify this by unplugging then switch the switch to store. the red light should go off. Switch the switch to Use and light goes on. Switch to store again and plug in and the red light will go on.
Warning with my intellitec disconnect switch if the switch is off (store mode) the batteries are not charging even if the coach is plugged in.
