So I'm seeing these ads in the middle of each forum page:

"Double Any Vehicle's MPG!
"Secret Technology THEY Want to Ban!
"Plans, Sources, Complete Kits! $50
"www.5starshine.com"

So if this doesn't work and ruins my MH, will Affinity buy me a new rig?

A huge black eye for rv.net and Affinity Group, Inc.

I agree, to run Ads that you know are bogus is immoral and unethical. Shame!

They are targeted Google ads, maybe you have not noticed them before? Affinity gets money for everyone clicking on them.

The only way to stop those particular ones would be to stop the fuel price threads so the Google bots find something else to put up.

Like that's gonna happen...

Do pigs fly?

quoting from www.5starshine.com "How to convert your car/truck to burn on water in addition to gasoline and diesel"

The first time I head this one was about 1960, at a small country gas station in rural Missouri. The guy drove in and parked his Ford away from the pumps and came over and ask for a water can. He then used a funnel to put 5 gal of water into the "gas tank." He 'tried' to hide what he was doing as he added a pill from a bottle.

He brought the water can back and started a conversation. Long story short he would sell us a bottle of 10 of his pills for $10. 1 pill per tank of water. Even at 1960 prices a great deal! Before any money changed hands the old farmers laughed him down the road. The trick is of course two tanks, one for water, one for gasoline.

Yep, that one's been around a long long time. The only true way to improve mileage on an existing vehicle is to so highly modify the engine with aftermarket parts that in a life time you will never recoup the cost in fuel savings. You can improve mileage. Double it, I doubt it. But it ain't cheap.

There are ads on these pages? I guess I don't even notice them any more. Sort of like Tivo.

Now let me get this right, this contraption will double my mileage. There is another device out there that will me 25% better mileage. It seems if I can get several of these things that are "GAURANTEED" to increase mileage, I'd soon need to hang a bucket from my fill pipe om the truck 'cause it'd be MAKING fuel!!

I think one can turn off the ads, but it's more fun to jerk Affinity's chain.
