Does anyone know of a campground to stay at for long term like 3-6 months.. Pohick bay would be perfect location wise but they say you can only stay for 28 days and have to be gone for 4 days.. Maybe doable if we go somewhere else for a weekend away or something.

We are relocating there and have lived in that area for about 2yrs we have only been away for 10 months or so. I did find Hillwood in Gainseville but, we would like to be a bit closer to Ft. Belvoir as that is where DH will be working. We don't want to be in MD at all.

Thanks!

Bull Run Regional Park is in Centerville, but it's really almost Manasas. Very close to route 66. They've just added 50 amp and sewer sites and the park itself has a huge pool complex with water slides. We drove through it in eatly April and they were still working on finishing the sewer lines. Should be done by now. While I haven't stayed there to personally vouch for it, we do have reservations to stay there over the 4th of July.

We stayed at Bull Run Regional Park Campground last November for their Christmas light display - it was a nice park. I don't know the specific sites but there were several that appeared awkward to fit a rig into and many that were not very level. We were in site 124 and it was nice but the electric was on the wrong side and rather far from the camper (even if we pulled in backwards) so we ended up going to camping world (only a 10 minute drive) and bought a 30 amp extension cord. I noticed that most of the sites were like this so be warned.

I took notes on which sites to request should we return but if they have remodeled maybe this won't mean anything
30 amp full hook-up - 96, 127, 125, 126, 124, 110, 113, 111
50 amp full hook-up – 119, 117, 109, 107
electric only – 138, 133, 95, 1, 2, 3, 4, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24
