Hey skinny,
So you're looking for a bigger TT. You are already an RV'er. I got it. So you already know what's up with RV's and camping. I see the model you are looking at is a rear-kitchen. Take a look at the models that have a rear-lounge, too; there will probably be an RL in the model name. Those chairs are a lot more comfy than the sofas they put in RV's. Regardless, here is something that I've learned from other far more experienced folks than I on this board. When shopping for your next RV don't worry about what vehicle you have now. Go out and find your "must have" rig and if your current vehicle can't tow/haul it go out and buy a vehicle that will. Good luck and happy shopping (that's half the fun).

The hemi has plenty of power. With my 2004 Durango & Jayco 25F (probably very similar to your TT floorplan), the only weight I have to be careful with is the GCW (Gross Combined Weight). I haven't loaded up the combination yet for our traveling, but I know I have a little over 1,000# to work with. The Reese WDH w/Dual Cam works wonders with my combination. Good luck!

Welcome to the forum. I have about 20,000 miles under the GC and the HEMI just loves to pull. Don't be afraid to let it wind up in 2nd on the grades and there will be virtually nothing you can't pull at 55 or better. However, if you slow down on a grade that is trouble as the torgue curve is such that's it tough to get the rpm back up.
A note of caution, you can feel the TT start to push the TV back end on curves going hill. Keep your speed reasonable and give the brake controller a little more sensitivity and you will be fine. The 5 link rear suspension handles it nicely, but you can feel it.
One improvement that I did to greatly improve the handling was to upgrade to a 110S load rated tire (Cooper Discovery ATR) as it took the sidewall flex out of the picture.
NOTE: GCWR on the GC is 12,200 lbs.

Have a 2006Jeep Commander with the Hemi and the Quadra Drive II system, thin k this is the same drive train as the Grand Cherokee. When looking at the tow specs in the owners manual for trailer load being 7000 GVW they also place a maximum size on frontal area on the trailer not being over so many square feet so you may need to check that out also for the wind resistance.
