First, the A/C froze up. It took two trips to the dealer to get it fixed.
Second, the furnace quit working the second night of a trip.
Third, the converter/charger quit. Fortunately I had a portable charger that got us through.
Although it was very annoying the dealer fixed all problems.
I have to say that the TT is a 2005 model that sat on their lot for over a year before we bought it.

I had to take mine back once. They called and said they wanted to reseal it. I let them. It is the only time it was ever taken back. Something to be said for my cheap entry level TT.

After picking up our new trailer last Saturday I have spent a few hours going over it and changing things that I didn't like.
I put screw caps on 18 exposed screw heads, I think that should have been done at the factory.
I relocated a 120V outlet that was useless because of its location between a mattress and night stand).
I had to tidy up some wiring.
All I have left on my list is to stain and varnish some unfinished trim ends, again something that should have been done at the factory.
The only warranty issue I have so far is a $2.00 amber light lens that is cracked, gonna stop in today on the way to work and get a new one. If I have to buy it no big deal, cheaper than hauling the rig for a simple fix.
Hopefully this is the end of the list, first trip is planned for the long weekend starting May 17, guess we will have to wait and see.

Ours went back once for a couple of items. I have fixed a couple of minor things (workmanship issues) while on the road.

We use our TT 80-100 times a year and we have never had to take it back to the dealer. My husband is not someone who can make major repairs. He has had to replace screws that were loose on the inside and some that were rusting on the outside.
And we did contact the dealer when the radio stopped working. They told him about a fuse inside the radio that has to be replaced.

We've bought new twice and have never taken it back to the dealer (both were out of state). We spend on average about 2 months camping each year; we do a variety of trips; weekend trips between the longer ones, which are anywhere from 1 to 3 weeks. I think it depends on what you are taking it back for. We are pretty handy and know that things will need to be tweaked, which we do ourselves.

We bought new in Feb of 2005. Came with a 2 year factory warranty we never needed to use, not even once. It was not because we didn't use the trailer either, as we have about 20,000 miles on it now. It just was a well made unit from Komfort with great attention to detail. Nothing seems to ever go wrong with it.

Our first new TT was a Pioneer and had a couple of trips to the dealer to repair minor items. They were fixed the first time and we had many trouble free trips. 2 years ago I stepped up (I thought) and bought a new Keystone Cougar (see my sig). We have had 1 trip (last month) without problems. This dealership's shop was terrible. It took them several tries to repair the problems, some pretty major. The TT had a design flaw with the black tank that took 3 tries to fix. I finally took the TT to Les Schwab and paid out of my own pocket to get the brakes fixed. 2 times after sitting on their lot waiting for repairs my TT was damaged. Neither time did they tell me about it and I only caught one because it was obvious. I was never so glad to see my warranty expire so I could do the repairs myself. The point of this rant is to choose your dealership carefully. I think it is more important than the type of RV you select.
