I have to be at the VA Hospital in SD Thursday night or Friday morning for a friend's surgery. Where is the best place to put my MH for Thursday and Friday if need be? I really didn't want to pay, but will if I need to. I will be traveling Thursday night from LV - any suggestions on route?
if you call the hospital they may have a place to park there .some hospital allow that when family member are in hospital for couple days. just ask let them know you travelin in from out of town and found out about his surgery...hope everything goes well with your friend.
Many people pull into the parking lot along Mission Bay, Clairemont Dr off of I5. Just north of the Information Center. Some full timers also make this their home, so you get a blend of new and 'rustic' rigs... Just to the South of the Information Center is a dumping station.
I sure like the sound of the parking lot at VA, if allowed...
The area surrounding the VA Hospital is densely populated, with a lot of traffic. There is no place to park you rig. The VA Hospital would be your best bet. The closest Wal-Mart is about 10 to 15 miles away located to the east on I-15 at Aero Drive. This might be an option if you have a toad. You can go to www.rvparkreviews.com and maybe you can find something, but it would cost $.
