That thing has better landing gear than mine does! Good shape too! I'd camp in it!

A backdoor way to guess would be to look at the tires. Take the weight rating of one of the tires and multiply by 2.5 and I suspect you would have a pretty good estimate. Even if they are 15 inch tires that would only get you into the 4,500 lb Gross range. Weight it is of course the right answer.
Good Luck,

Reminds me of the caveman camper my parents had in the 70s, took all 4 of us across NA west to east and north to south. What a time we had. Thats why I camp to this day and why I introduced it to my wife and daughter who love it also. These are the good old days.

Some comparisons from Australia where we have some smaller 5th wheels pulled by cars or light pickups.
A 26ft Truelux Motorhome (much heavier than the example above)pulled by a Ford Falcon Ute.

My first 5ver was a 1984 19 FT. Wilderness. I was so proud to have a 5th wheel, that is until one morning a older lady beside me at the campground said out of the blue "Oh, I just realized that your camper is a 5th wheel. I thought it was one of those campers that fit in the back of the truck! It sure is cute" Started the wheels rolling to get rid of the cute rig!

Interesting how far back the wheels are on this one. Pin weight would seem to be closer to 30/40% of total weight. On the truck I would think you would want the pin in front of the axle. Especially with the increased pin weight.
To the OP, I would tow that single axle with any half ton truck.

You know it's time to get rid of ANYTHING you drive or tow when they start throwing the "it's cute" comment around. That's the kiss of death. I have a buddy that drives a Ford Sport Trak. I tell him that every time I see one I try to pull up next to it to see what the girl looks like driving it. HAHAHA.....

Sure is, but that is why we use cars to their maximum.

it is not a Truck but a Ute, but a car based "truck". Interestingly Ford and GMH have never built US style Pickups here. Ford assembled F100's, but they were never popular. F150-350's DO NO have a Macho image here. They are perceived as "Big Utes" but not Trucks.

Interestingly their 26 ft is towed by a Ford Falcon Ute.

but their 29ft model by this

and a newer 31ft Model
"Suitable for GMC F250-F350 or an Iveco Truck" a Misnomer , as a IVECO TRUCK is the Cab Chassis version of the 3 Litre IVECO Daily Van.
