Ok just my 2 cents, i had this close to no pressure also, you have replaced the pump but did you change or clean the screen that infront of it between the tank and pump, ours look ok from the outside but when i took it apart it was pluged up with grit and sand!!!

I'm with most of the others. I think you must have a cracked line or something. That pump is sucking air!

With mine, the hose running from the tank to the pump had a kink in it. Test by running hose from bucket to pump and see how it does. If thats it, you may have to replace the hose.

If I ever go into a dealer with something like that, I get the service "expert" in tow and demonstrate the problem. That usually gets the deer in the headlight look but then they have to do something besides turn a service order to the comapany for warranty work.

One other possibility is there is a strainer on the fitting on the tank that is plugged. Mine has one even though it looks like a standard fitting, pull yours and check it.

Assuming that the initial 6 gallons of water you put in was sufficient to cover the pump inlet on the tank and prevent the pump from pulling air along with water, I would say that your problem is that the pump is mounted to high above the tank. The pump is not strong enough to lift the water from a near empty tank or the suction pressure is great enough to partially collaspe the hose and the pump is probably cavitating. As you put more water in the tank, the lift is decreased and the pump performs better.
I have the same problem with mine. Mine begins to do the same as yours when the tank gets down near 1/3. This is not a critical issue with me since I am usually hooked to city water supply. But relocating the pump is on my todo list.

My pump is 2 feet above my tank and the tank is only 6 inches high. So it will work if you get the suction problem worked out.
