So is there a switch to install in the cab of the truck to adjust the Firestone bags? Or how do you adjust them?

If you have the onboard air,you can adjust them from the front seat.
I didn't want to mess with plumbing in the onboard air,so I just installed the Firestones with the standard fill valves. The valves are under the bed near the frame for now. I'm going to relocate them to the fuel filler door soon.
My Pacbrake has a quick disconnect on the compressor that allows me to connect an air line and a bunch of different air fittings. I use the Pacbrake when I need to add air to the bags.

I have the Firestone Ride Rite and they are great. I have the on-board compressor, gauge and switch and can adjust/add or reduce air from the drivers seat. Got a quote from Camping World and then went to my local Chevy dealer showed him the quote and he matched the CW quote. If you go this route it will cost in the neighborhood 0f $900 to 1,000. I also run about 10 to 15# in mine at all times, with 5er loaded my gauge in the cab raises to about 30# with the added weight. You should never run with no air. I know it may sound pricey but in my mind it was well worth the investment.

Summit had the best prices when I bought my Firestone Ride-Rites.
Scot mentioned the mounting brackets for the Airlift is outside the frame while the Firestones mount between the frame and the spring pack. I've heard guys worry about shearing the mounting bolts on the Airlifts, but I've never heard of it actually happening.

We just had the Ride Rite bags installed - a bit pricey I thought, but well worth it. What a difference in ride and handling! Absolutely would do it again.
Backpack to fiver...and everything in between. What a life!

Ordered the Ride Rites today from Summit, $251 including shipping.. should be here in 2 days, and have a trip with the 5'er next friday.
Any tips to the installing?

I did the job by myself, would have been much easier with someone to help. If I were to do it again I would take the rear wheels off for a little extra room to work with.
Like most, routed two lines (one for each bag) and stuck each valve through the mounting bolts for the rear liscense plate. Give a good clean look and if you ever want to remove the airbags just bolt the plate up and you won't have any additional holes drilled anywhere on your rig.
