We purchased a Keystone Everest in February 2007. We have been disappointed with the quality of the unit. Since that time, we have taken four trips. During the second trip we ran thru rain. Upon our arrival at the campground that night we discovered water had leaked into the living slide. We took it back to the dealer who stated they had repaired it under warranty. On our third trip, we rain thru rain again only to discover that water again had come in. Keystone stated that our one year warranty was up and they would not repair the unit. The dealer went ahead and repaired the unit at their expense. We are now on our fourth trip. Yesterday we ran thru rain and the inside of the unit is worse that ever. We have two of the four slide leaking. Anyone else have this problem?
We are disappointed with the overall quality or I should say lack of. After three trips, eight cabinets no longer line up and do not stay closed. Shelves fall when traveling resulting in broken items even though I now put everything in baskets. There are electrical outlets that cannot be used with moving furniture. The living room TV came out of the cabinet. Trim and molding is coming loose. Overall, we are very unhappy!

We bought a Challenger which is a step below the Everest in the Keystone line. We had a quite a few cosmetic problems. The biggest problems were: the A/C compressor went out in the first few months, the shower began to seperate from the wall, and our TV went flying out too. However, everything was fixed under warranty, and having owned RV's in the past, I purchased an extended warranty which is good for several years more. I guess if this was my first RV, I'd be pretty upset with the problems I had, but the previous unit we had was a Jayco that was really plagued with problems, and Jayco has a pretty good reputation for quality. Before that we had a Forest River product that was a pretty low end product in their line, but we had the fewest problems with it (but there was still some problems). So in comparison, I guess I can't complain, but I feel your pain. I think they charge a lot of money for these rigs without a lot of quality assurance! If you are having the same leaks you had previously while the unit was under warranty, I would take it up with Keystone and see if something can be worked out. If it's the same problem over and over, you might enough ammunition for a lemon law fight, but that's a long hard road. If going to Keystone doesn't work, then depending on your patience and financial resources, I would probably find the best RV service place in your area. Ask in this forum for suggestions. Explain the problem to the service place you find, and maybe they can fix the problems even if it requires some modifications to the unit.
About the shelving, if you are talking about the pantry, we are having the same problems with ours. The plastic runners and holders just don't work well. I'm looking at making modifications in mine as well to make more stable pantry shelving. The rest of our shelving has held up pretty well, and I'm pleased with it.

My suggestion would be to join the Everest Owners Club and post your comment on that forum. These guys know Everest inside and out. I'm sure that I've read about other slide leaks on that forum and how to fix them.
Sorry to hear you have a recurring problem. We've had our Everest for 5 years and have never had a major problem.

We had a 2005 Everest 343L and had one problem with a wall board that was to long and bowed out at the bottom. I would call Keystone customer service and I think they will stand behind the Everest. We owned two Keystone 5th wheels and will probably be our next 5th wheel. GBY......

We have a 2003 Everest and are very happy with it we also had water cumming in between the slide and the entrance door I had a friend that glued a piece of rubber like their are around trucks and cars door since then no problem.
do not forget to strap your TVs good luck to you.
we have friends who bought a brand new class A I would not like to have ALL the problems he has

Two things I'd check when having leaky slides on the Everest:1st; the tape that seals the top where the wall meets the roof.(has been a problem for more then I can tell you)
2nd: check the bubble/tube seal at the bottom of the slide that should be compressed when the slide is in; a number of them don't get glued properly which would let water in as it has a tendency to slip down. (I know from personal experience)

woodburner is right on. In that year Everest I have seen some problems with the tape seal on the top of the slide out where the outside wall meets the roof. It is easy to fix. Normally if this is leaking, you will have water in the cabinets in the slide out. I also agree with post on calling Keystone Retail customer service line. They are usually pretty good to work with on that end even out of warranty.

Another vote for Woodburner's advise. Every slide on my 2006 323k leaked until replacing the tape on the slide tops. Once that was done never had another problem with leaking.

We have a 343L 2006 - have not had leakage problems - our problem has been with the remote control heat and air but seem to finally get that fix after 4 trips to dealer - did have and still do have cabinet doors that get out of line and learned to strap down the TV.
We use ours alot - DH lives in it while he works.
