As long as you're not way off level front to back we do it all the time. To prevent the bouncing some I put my screw levelers in the back and then use the electric tongue jack to put some weight on the rear and just accept some of the slight bouncing.

I have never when staying hitched disconnected any of the WD/Sway with my current Equal-i-zer or with my older round bar with friction sway. I did loosen the friction sway while DW was registering at the office so it was not so tight when backing and jocking around getting into the site if it was a back in.

Leave it hitched. There is no way to cause any kind of undo stresses on the truck. Drivng down the road is 1000000% stressful than sitting static. If you are concerned about movement, then lower the rear jacks for some stability.

We've learned that when we stay hitched up for a night or two, we need to disconnect the electrical connection to the truck. It can drain the battery of the Tow vehicle.

We do that all the time. We do use the electric tongue jack to take a bit of the load off the TV suspension.

We always leave the fiver hooked up for overnighters. As previously stated, try to level as best as possible, set the park brake lower the front landing gear and rear stabs and chock the wheels.
