I think I spelled it right. Anyway, I was wanting to get some input about this camper. Likes/dislikes, buy/stay away from, things like that. Thanks.

I don't know much about the Sabre, but I have the lower priced Puma by Palomino, and I don't have any complaints about it. We purchased it two years ago as a "get us there and back" when we had problems on the road with our older Jayco. Being a small no-frills camper we're not thrilled with it, but it's been trouble-free.

I have a Puma also. The workmanship on the exterior caulking is awful.
All in all , we like it.

Luckily if it's just the caulking that's a issue a afternoon can clean that up and can be corrected by someone who cares more about the look (that's you!!)
I have seen a few threads about the new Sabre, they seemed overall people were positive about the camper for the price paid. In fact, that seems to be every Palomino thread - some issues and built to it's price but overall a great deal.

I haven't looked at the Puma, but I think I'll check it out also.

jello there is also the Thoroughbred by Palomino as you can see in our sig. We started out with the Puma fiver and moved to the Thoroughbred because its a bigger RV but lighter weight. All in all good product and if you have the right dealership behind you then you should have no problems if any warranty work is needed. Also so you know, Palomino was purchased by Forest River a couple years ago but other than that its still the same company that stands behind its products and has for years.

I don't know about the Sabre, but we have the Puma 253FBS and love it. We looked at a lot of fivers and liked this unit for all the storage it has, and it is still fairly small. Just like a few of the other posts, I had to go through the inside and clean up the caulking and wood putty. Shop around on the internet and you can find great prices. Good Luck...

As you can tell from my signature, we have a Sabre 31RKTS. In three words...WE LOVE IT.
For the price you can't beat it. It's a well built solid unit. It pulls great and there is lots of room inside.
DW likes the rear kitchen floorplan. It has a bunch of counter space, as well as cabinet space.
The company has been very responsive when I made inquiries.
Who could ask for anything more? (where have I heard that before?)

jello..check out the forum in my signature and go to the Palomino section. There are people there that own Puma's and Sabre's as well and they seem to all enjoy their units.
