1996 newmar kountrystar spartan mountainmaster chassis. step will not extend. have found 5amp fuse in dash and 25 amp fuse in electric bay. both are good. cant find third fuse shown on kwikee wiring diagram? any suggestions where to look? fuse panel in bedroom shows all are good. none are labeled step. have looked in front generator comp and cant see any labelled step. tried shutting off all power and turning it back on. no good. getting ready to crawl under.

Crawl under, KEEP CLEAR OF STEP and have someone open the door.. OBSERVE LIGHT

If you see the light, Controller has power and is most likley working

Take hammer and gently tap the motor, About as you would a hard boiled egg

Do this 4 or 5 times and have partner open door again, Do it again if needed,

You might get lucky

If you do.. May I suggest service center

Also check your door switch to make sure it's good.

If the little light under the steps goes on when the door is open, and off when the door is closed.... Switch good
