OK....Totally non serious question. My 13 year old daughter and I have been discussing putting a mannequin in our CR-V toad...and maybe rig up something to have it wave at passing cars.

OK... Thoughts anyone?

Hmm...lets start out with the first time a cop stops you for having someone in a towed vehicle.
Then when the cop sees it's a dummy. You can tack on a causing a distraction/road hazard ticket.
Now depending on the municipality, county or state regulations...you might have to pay right then and there...Or go to court.
So add court costs to the original ticket(s).
Deduct that from you vacation budget.
WOW what a great joke huh?

I think it would be really funny, but I'll bet some stick in the mud cop might not think so. If it was me I'd pass.

Did you read about the kids who put a sign in rear window of family car saying help us? As I recall the parents spent over a day in jail, kids in juvenile hall, while it all got straightened out.

How about this! Here!

Or here!

The story would be "Hi Officer, we didn't have any room for it in the RV!"

I THINK THAT WOULD JUST CAUSE ANOTHER DISTRACTION TO OTHER DRIVERS THAT ARE TRYING TO PASS WOULD YOU LIKE TO CREATE A ACCIDENT?

I think you and your daughter have serious issues and a very warped sense of humor...that being said, it sounds an awful lot like something my (now) 21 year old daughter and I would dream up and laugh hysterically about for quite some time. Do it; neither one of you will ever forget it! Have fun!
