It seems that the website has been taken down - probably due the fact that the recall has been going on since about 2007. You can check this thread for most of the information that was on the recall website. If you still have questions, I would call Dometic and ask.
Edit: this link should work.

Pics from the link above-help to identify if your refer has had recall done- basically a safety thermal link is added to wiring near burner and a themal disk/button added to flue-if either sees high heat shuts off power to refer. Also added is sheet metel under, behind and in front of burner-to contain fire I assume should one start.
This shows the added thermal link in wiring and added thermo disk/button that shuts down power to refer..(added front sheet metal removed). Shows added bottom tray and metal surround in back.

And the front surrounding sheet metal (yours would be square, I loped of corner cause it was rubbing heater wires)

Thanks so much for bringing this information to my attention with this sticky!
I just bought a used 1996 Fleetwood Prowler with a Dometic RM2652 fridge in it ... went to Dometics website and clicked on the recall info link, asked to enter model and serial and it came back saying "my fridge was affected by this recall"!
So how does this process work ... I call my local authorized service center that dometic had provided me a list and they just set and appt. for me to take the trailer in and it's all just done and taken of ... nothing out of my pocket correct?
What exactly is this issue?
Thanks so much for all the info you can provide on this for me.

So what exactly is it that I look for in this picture to know if this service has been completed?
I just bought this trailer and I would like to find out before I schedule an appt. with a service center if this has been done.
Thanks
