Aw geez.....that was me and my brother in his rig - it was his first time out and he was scared to death!!! He said he felt like he was flyin' Sorry if he made you late... He can be pretty inconsiderate sometimes.

(Not really true but I thought I'd lighten it up a little) Put it to the 5 year test - will it matter in 5 years?? If not then don't get upset because it's not worth the stress to you...

I think it's time you gave up driving, if that's your attitude and if your knowledge of dealing with emergency vehicles is so poor. The law (and common sense) tells you to pull off if there are flashing lights behind you on a 2 lane road-----not speed up!! And 45 on an interstate (when other traffic is at and above the speed limit) is just plain rude and arrogant.
Don't worry, he'll run across the LEO that will issue a citation for "Impeding the flow of normal traffic" and then be the one to scream bloody murder that his right are being trampled. His actions will kill someone, but he doesn't care, he will loose his license for his attitude and driving habits.

I used to get frustrated driving behind "slow" vehicles....then I stopped and thought about my 93 year old dad who's reflexes may not be quite what they where but he is sharp as a tack AND still working a job! When this happens to me I simply put a gentle smile on my face and see the person in front of me as my dad. God bless him, in this rush, rush hustle world maybe taking a deep breath and chilling out could help. Was it really THAT big of a deal? It's not like this happens every day! I'm gonna give the driver of the motorhome a break, be safe dad and keep on truckin'

He would not have held up traffic in this part of northern Calif. I drive dump truck mostly on two lane mountain roads, and at least once a week someone will pass me over a double yellow line. Can not count how many times I have been passed on corners. The last couple of years people have started to use the left turn lane to pass you when you are starting from a stop sign, or light. Two weeks ago someone passed me in the oncoming turn lane with a car coming. That motorhome driver was probably used to Calif drivers.

Based on some of the posts here, it seems to me that reality is getting out of touch.

If you don't like my driving, then stay off of the sidewalk!!!!

Oh, and BTW, I think we are all much safer slowing down behind a "slow-poke" than we are when the bone-heads pass us by, towing a toad/trailer behind a 40' diesel pusher at 85mph. Happened to me the other day and a few miles up the road, he was off on the side being issued a ticket.

I agree that if the minimum speed limit is 45 and someone wants to drive that slow, then they are well within the law and it is then our problem if we want to go around them.

And then there is tolerance. Remember that concept?
