Well, the F-150 bit the dust. My DTC reader is saying that I lost cylinders 3 and 5. We pulled off in America Fork UT and purchased a new truck. The F-150's job as TV was replaced by a 2008 Dodge Ram 3500, crew cab, short bed with the 6.7l diesel and a 6 speed auto tranmission. It is such a better tow vehicle for this monster. First tank of gas was 12.3mpg hand calced, the f-150 was getting between 8-9mpg.

We finish up the trip today, 9 hours to Monterey.

Justin, I know we talked about upgrading to a diesel truck but I did not think it would have to be so impromptu. I do hope you enjoy the Dodge Ram.
