FYI, after I started this thread, I found a rim at the local auto recycler(fancy name for junk yard. Gotta be politically correct these days ). Also found a used tire. Stopped at the local RV shop and they recommended a guy that can make me the carrier for the underside.
Ill use the hitch idea if everything else falls through.

Mine came with one after 5 years and five blow outs I would never travel with out a spare and road service is nice if the they can locate a tire and most inportant what if you cell has no signal I did put on 40.000 miles during this time and some places you are broke down you wish you were never in and wouldn't want to stay there hoping they would show up sooner then later. Then your better half saying see you should have gotten a spare.
