My 2002 Cougar is beginning to show signs that the logos and sticker are coming unglued at the edges. On the front cap, most everything has curled by 1-2 inches. I've trimed them down last year which was no big deal. Now, I will just remove the entire front cap stickers. Then I noticed that the sides are just starting to do the same. I do not want to loose those strips and stickers. What should I use to reglue the edges back down with?
I would like to replace the front stickers but the dealer said he could not get the 2002 stickers any longer. Suggestions?

A friend of mine had the same problem, so he had his trailer painted down in Texas for $750. They did a wonderfull job, even the name on the front looked the same as his old decales.
If you plan on keeping you unit or trading it in it will help in increasing the value.
Something to think about

Glad you asked this question. Our '02 front decal is peeling also. We have contemplated buying a scenic decal to replace it, but I do like the cougar decal. Will be watching responses.

I too have a 2002 Cougar. When it was less than 1 year old, the decals started peeling. The dealer was able to get a couple of new ones and replace the peeled ones. Now as Hokie said, they can't get anything anywhere close now. I inquired at a couple of paint shops about painting the decals on, but received no positive response. I've just trimmed off the peeled part, but pretty soon I'll be way into the decal.

Take pictures and measurements before it is too late. The graphics can be reproduced at a automotive graphic shop. Even if you aren't ready to spend the money now, you want to have a good record of what the graphics look like and where exactly they should be located. I doubt you will find glue that would work for a long time and I would be worried about using something too strong that would damage the trailer.

I would take a digital pic of the decal and then take to a graphic shop to reproduce, or call manuf. and have them send you the decal or a pdf file of image. If you re glue try 3M super 99 spray it works on many things.
