The holding tank slide valves on the MH were leaking just slightly. Dates on them were 1987, so I guess they needed replacing anyway.
Sooooo!!! I get replacements - take off old ones - get the black water new one on, but can not get the gray water one on. the configuration is the standard "Y". they are so tight I can not get the second valve in with out the rubber gasket getting caught. It is like I need something to hold the tank exits apart untill the slide valve in in place, the release. THIS OLD WOMAN IS REALLY OLD SOME DAYS!
HELP!! any suggestions????

I have two gray and one black valve and had to remove the screws for all three just to replace the broken gray valve. Once loose i had to pull on the dump assy to get the old one out and the new one in.
Had the same problem. I loosend the back valve screws, then losely put the screws into the gray vavle, then tighten all until it all fit. Or you can put in the gray valve first, then the black valve so that you can jiggle things around. I hope you have success
I found on mine that if I left the valve in place about 1/2 inch and slid the new one in it would clear and I didn't have to hold them apart while trying to put new one in. If you can somehow get your old grey water valve in place enought to hold the gap open, I believe that will work for you. Good luck
